Made in England from weighty 500gsm heavyweight organic cotton, these garment dyed, dropped shoulder hoodies are built like tanks.
For a long time I have wanted to create a quality heavyweight hoodie that doesn't have a brand logo printed on the back (I‘ve left it plain), that looks and feels well loved and worn, and has something different about the design.
When I got the first sample from the Leicester-based factory I am working with, I knew the time was right to make the dream hoodie a reality.
Playing with the kangaroo pockets and making them oversized meant they were great for storing stuff in, but weren't easy to stuff your hands into, so I included side seam hand pockets. Because nobody wants a hoodie you can't stuff your hands into on a cold day. There is also one of the sleeve, which is there entirely for aesthetics, but I think it looks banging.
These heavyweight wonders come in a boxy, slightly cropped fit.

I was drawn to the Tumeric Shusim Overshirt by the beautiful orangey color of the garment — and while the color is undoubtedly unique, it’s the other details on this piece that have blown my mind.
Starting with the pattern. It’s difficult to make out until seeing in person, but the shirt has an intricate texture / pattern that is easy to blink and miss. It adds a depth to the garment that is lovely.
Then there’s the fit. I often sit between a M and L these days, and have found it difficult to find perfect fitting button ups and over shirts. No more. The M couldn’t have fit me better. It’s comfortable, with space to breathe in, but cut in a way that just fits perfectly.
Saccade will be a brand whose drops I highly anticipate from now on. Not many brands or makers pay attention to detail quite like Simon.
I knew the Overlap Hoodie was unique when I first laid eyes on it Instagram, but after seeing it in person, I truly believe Saccade has crafted one of the best hoodies you can get your hands on.
The garment quality is insane — with the heavyweight fabric not only being extremely comfortable, but truly beautiful. After some weeks of wear, I can tell it will hold up for a very long time.
Besides that, every pocket and detail is perfectly placed. You might be thinking ‘why the heck does a hoodie need so many pockets?’ Well, after experiencing this hoodie, I’m wondering why the rest of my hoodies don’t have more pockets. The two lowest pockets on the sides are subtle, and somehow more of a comfortable place to hide my hands on a chilly day than a traditional front pocket. The two front pockets are unexpectedly great storage places for just about anything. So far, I’ve placed my wallet, keys, and even cradled cans of my favorite beverages in there comfortably.
A wild feat, but this is undoubtedly the best hoodie I have ever owned. Hats off to Simon and Saccade for this one.
Great order, well made trouser, not seen anything of the like from other brands either. Really stand out and great comfort.
Would definitely buy again if available in another colour
Nice pair of pants, love the light, relaxed feel and the myriad of pockets including the air pod pocket and the one with the secret zipper …. The adjustment is cool and they are coming into their own as the weather changes slightly.
Only suggestion i’d make is to have a slightly longer leg length on larger sizes tbh, but no real biggy!

This shirt is definitely one of a kind! Not only is the pattern fantastic, but also the details are excellent, such as the configuration of the pockets and the placement of the buttonholes! I've enjoyed it paring underneath the jacket as well!

These are a perfect every day easy pant. Perfect casual fit, super soft and comfortable, and I love the subtle pattern. Highly recommended!

The Shusim pants have exceeded all expectations so far. The material itself is light and airy making them great pants for the transitional seasons. The cotton jacquard design is also subtle enough to not be distracting, but still elevates the look compared to normal navy slacks.
Really excited for the temperature to cool off a little so I can break them out a little more regularly!
